For this project, I used communication skills. This was a group project for algebra 2 and we were required to demonstrate the understanding of quadratics and construct a catapult with that knowledge. A quadratic equation is an equation that is raised to the second degree. The highest exponent of the function is 2. As a team, we had to communicate about the design plan, and how we would proceed once we had the design plan. We decided to split the project up, so each of us could focus on a part. I ended up doing most of the design and filled out all the questions and my partner created the videos. We did however run into a few obstacles. At first our catapult was better at launching height wise, but the assignment was intended to be "who could launch the marshmellow a further distance." Another issue was that I had a difficult time filling out the questions because they were a little difficult to understand. In the end we ended up getting a 100% plus extra credit, so it all ended up working out.
